Classification of polyurethane catalysts
The catalysts commonly used in the synthesis of polyurethane and its raw materials mainly include tertiary amine catalysts and organometallic compounds. There are many varieties of tertiary amines and organometallic compounds. Considering various factors, only more than 20 are most commonly used in polyurethane production.
Amine catalyst
Amine catalysts are generally used in the production of polyurethane foam and are mainly divided into the following categories:
Aliphatic amine catalysts include N,N-dimethylcyclohexylamine, bis(2-dimethylaminoethyl) ether, N,N,N',N'-tetramethylalkylenediamine, triethyl amine, N,N-dimethylbenzylamine, etc.
Alicyclic amine catalysts include solid amine, N-ethylmorpholine, N-methylmorpholine, N,N'-diethylpiperazine, etc.
Alcohol compound catalysts include triethanolamine, DMEA and the like.
Aromatic amines include pyridine, N,N'-lutidine and the like.
Organometallic catalysts
In the formulations of polyurethane elastomers and adhesives, coatings, sealants, waterproof coatings, paving materials, etc., organometallic catalysts such as dibutyltin dilaurate (DY-12) are the most commonly used, which promote the reaction between isocyanate groups and hydroxyl groups. It is very effective, but it also has a certain acceleration effect on the reaction of water and isocyanate in formulas with moisture; special catalysts such as organic lead can be used in formulas such as plastic runways.
Organometallic compounds include carboxylates, metal alkyl compounds, etc. The metal elements contained mainly include tin, potassium, lead, mercury, zinc, etc., and the most commonly used are organotin compounds.

Basic properties of tertiary amines
Carbon dioxide capture is one of the important ways to achieve carbon reduction. CO2 capture technology mainly includes physical absorption method, membrane separation method, chemical absorption method, etc. Among them, chemical solvent absorption method is the oldest and more mature and widely used decarbonization method.

Characteristics of Secondary Amines
In case of acid, it forms a basin. It is obtained by deamination and hydrogenation of primary amines under the action of nickel drill or copper pot catalyst. Used in herbicides, stabilizers of dioxane, waterproof, antistatic and soft fibers of fibers. Often sold as the hydrochloride salt.

Basic information and introduction to primary amines
Amine is a hydrocarbyl derivative of ammonia. According to the number of hydrocarbyl groups connected to the nitrogen atom in the amine, it can be divided into primary amine, secondary amine, and tertiary amine. If connected with four hydrocarbyl groups, it is a quaternary ammonium compound, in which the number of hydrocarbyl groups is 1 One is a primary amine.

Classification of Cationic Surfactants
Most of the cationic surfactants with commercial value are derivatives of organic nitrogen compounds, and their positive ion charges are carried by nitrogen atoms, and there are also some new cationic surfactants whose positive ion charges are carried by atoms such as phosphorus, sulfur, iodine, and arsenic. According to the chemical structure of cationic surfactants, it can be mainly divided into four types: amine salt type, quaternary ammonium salt type, heterocyclic type and loxane salt type.
